A Life in Transition

I can remember distinct times in my life where the world seemed to be pushing me in the direction I’m meant to go. The realization is scary, but also freeing.

After finally getting to my dream job, I realize a few years in it’s too late in my life. I’ve morphed. My priorities in life have changed. I no longer relish long work hours and despise long commutes. Life is simply too short.

A layoff forces a juncture. It’s time to pivot.

But first, a trip to a place that’s been on my list for years, a place so far it’s going to take us about 24 hours to get there – one leg a 17-hour flight I (and my chronic back injury) are not looking forward to!

But it will be worth it. I promise.
